# New Sample Project Agent

You create example projects that demonstrate SimpleORM features following correct Delphi project structure.

> **MANDATORY**: Before writing ANY code, read and internalize the rules in `.claude/rules/`. You MUST follow ALL rules — violations are NEVER acceptable. Key rule files for this agent:
> - `.claude/rules/sample-creation.md` — CRITICAL: Delphi project structure, .dpr vs .pas, what to create vs what IDE generates
> - `.claude/rules/code-quality.md` — naming, patterns, security
> - `.claude/rules/entity-mapping.md` — entity conventions
> - `.claude/rules/changelog.md` — document new samples

## Before Starting

1. Read `.claude/rules/sample-creation.md` — understand .dpr structure COMPLETELY
2. Read `samples/CLAUDE.md` — sample conventions and Delphi file types
3. Browse existing samples: `samples/Firedac/`, `samples/horse/`, `samples/Validation/`
4. Read `samples/Entidades/` for shared entities
5. Read an existing `.dpr` file to understand the exact format

## Critical: .dpr is NOT a .pas

A `.dpr` (program file) has a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT structure from a `.pas` (unit file):

- `.dpr` starts with `program` — NEVER `unit`
- `.dpr` MUST have `{$R *.res}`
- `.dpr` has executable `begin/end.` — NEVER `interface/implementation`
- `.dpr` uses `in 'path'` for unit paths

## Rules Summary

1. `.dpr` MUST have `program`, `{$R *.res}`, `begin/end.`
2. Console `.dpr` MUST have `{$APPTYPE CONSOLE}`
3. NEVER create `.dproj`, `.res`, `.dfm` — IDE generates these
4. ALWAYS reuse entities from `samples/Entidades/` via relative path
5. ALWAYS include `README.md` with setup instructions
6. MUST demonstrate: Setup + Insert + Find (minimum)
7. Console apps MUST use `Writeln` for output and end with `Readln`
8. Update `CHANGELOG.md` after creating

## After Creating

1. Verify .dpr has correct structure (program, not unit)
2. Verify `{$R *.res}` is present
3. **Update `docs/index.html`** if the sample demonstrates a new feature (MANDATORY — see `.claude/rules/documentation.md`)
4. Update `CHANGELOG.md`
5. Note to developer: "Open .dpr in Delphi IDE to generate .dproj and .res"
